Had to go to a wedding in town and picked this place to grab a bite to eat (something small). I ordered the pierogies, and they were delicious. Really creamy and flavorful. If we're in the area again, we will definitely be stopping by.
This was my first timd here and it was great! We were a big party and felt well taken care of. Our orders came out in a timely fashion, well prepared and huge portions so you may need to ask for a box to take food home.
Haven’t been in awhile but all the times I’ve been I’ve never been disappointed. Food and drinks are delicious. The Abbey fries phenomenal! The Brussel sprouts amazing!! The food is very good. The ambiance of the place is pretty cool too. Service has always been incredible. Definitely Recommend
The food at Iron Abbey is INCREDIBLE. I consider myself a Nacho Connoisseur and these may be the best I've ever had. The portion size is great and the quality of ingredients and the chips are top notch! The dish can easily feed a group of 3-4 people if not more. This place is a must try! Will be back!
I’ve been coming to the Iron Abbey for over 15 years, and it has never let me down - but my most recent visit stood out because of the outstanding service we received. Our waitress, Alyssa, along with Alex who was in training, were absolutely fantastic. Alyssa was everything you’d hope for in a server: courteous, professional, attentive, and very friendly. She went above and beyond by not only taking great care of our table but also letting us know about the daily specials, upcoming events, and even a fun promotion where taking a picture with the knight at the entrance could earn a free drink if posted on Instagram. It’s that kind of thoughtful touch that makes a place memorable. The food, as always, was excellent. I had the burger special and thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife, young daughter, and I all felt comfortable - the Iron Abbey really has a great atmosphere for families like ours, but it also works perfectly for the next date night. I also appreciated that there are plenty of TVs where we were able to catch the Phillies game, without it feeling overwhelming like some sports bars can. I’ve always enjoyed this place, but Alyssa’s service is the reason I’m writing this review after so many years. A friendly, professional server truly makes or breaks a dining experience, and she absolutely made ours. Highly recommend the Iron Abbey - you won’t be disappointed.
I had never sat in the loft area. It is pretty cool. The food was very good. I had the beets and carrots salad with shrimp and the wings. Both were filling and flavorful. The crab cakes and sliders were a good choice as well. My husband had no complaints. The service was fine and the food was quick. Will definitely be back.
My husband and I came to Iron Abbey for dinner tonight for the first time. Kevin was our waiter and gave us recommendations for both food and drink. I got a strawberry margarita and my husband got the old fashion. Both drinks were really good. For appetizer, we got the calamari. It was crispy and flavorful and paired really nicely with the sauce that came with it. For dinner, my husband got the brisket sandwich and I got the fried chicken sliders. Again, everything was delicious and we loved the fries. They were thin and crispy and the portions of everything we ordered was perfect. Overall, the atmosphere was cool, the service was prompt, the drinks were strong, and the food exceeded all of our expectations. We will definitely be back!
They took great care of our large group! I loved sitting at their large tables. The food was delicious with generous portions. Also, they have Chimay on tap!!!
